The Process

Step 1 - Email or Call our office for a free consultation. Our Sales/Design Specialist will meet with you at your home to review your project.  At that same time, we’ll complete an onsite evaluation, answer any questions you might have, and discuss some budgetary numbers.

Step 2 - Within a few days, a preliminary design is completed from which we’ll most likely exchange feedback and revisions via email to get the layout just right for you. Once that is done, a detailed cost analysis will be reviewed with you.

Step 3 - Should you elect to proceed, a preliminary agreement will be signed and a down payment of $2,000 will be collected. You’ll meet and work directly with our interior designer to help you professionally make all your selections.  At that same time, we will finalize your design.

Step 4 - Once the plan, selections, and final proposal are complete, we’ll review everything one last time to make sure everything is the way that you want it. We’ll then sign an easy, straight-forward final agreement, collect an additional $2,000 and get to work!

Step 5 - In 8 to 10 weeks typically, your basement finishing project will be done and ready for you to enjoy!

The Budget

Several scenarios are listed below from which you can establish a reasonable budget for your basement finishing project:  

• For Starters - $20,000 for approximately 500 to 600 SF which includes: Rec room large enough for TV viewing Play area or area for a pool table Full bath in area already plumbed for future bath

• Most Popular – $35,000 for approximately 900 to 1,000 SF which includes: Everything above plus Bar area with raised snack bar, seating for four, and cabinets for storage Separate room for bedroom, office or exercise room

• Do-It-Yourself Package - $22,000 for approximately 900 to 1,000 SF Everything above except We do framing through drywall including all electric and plumbing You do the rest
